UBEC-SUBEB MODEL SMART SCHOOL ADAKA MAKURDI CONDUCTS SUCCESSFUL CBT ENTRANCE EXAMINATIONS

The UBEC-SUBEB Model Smart School in Adaka, Makurdi, on Saturday held it's entrance examinations for ECCDE , Primary and Computer Based Test ( CBT)for Junior Secondary School levels. The school witnessed a massive turnout of aspiring learners eager to secure admission in the prestigious institution.

Executive Chairman, Benue State Universal Basic Education Board (SUBEB) Dr Grace Adagba in a statement, emphasized that the UBEC-SUBEB Model Smart School offers free and quality basic education. She urged parents to take full advantage of this opportunity, highlighting the school's commitment to equipping students with 21st-century skills through its modern computer gadgets and innovative teaching methods.

The UBEC State Coordinator, Mr. Idzi Baba Emmanuel, represented by Mrs. Vera Terhemen was present to observe the CBT. She expressed her satisfaction with the smooth conduct of the examinations and commended the collaborative efforts of SUBEB and UBEC in delivering quality education to the children of Benue State.

The Director, Quality Assurance SUBEB,Mr Hilejime Joel affirmed that, the process was transparent as the scores were displayed on the computer screen for all candidates to see.He assured parents that choosing the UBEC-SUBEB Model Smart School was a wise decision. He emphasized the school's high standards and the presence of well-qualified teachers dedicated to grooming learners for the future.

The Principal of the School, Dr. Peter Akpen, expressed happiness with the performance and large turnout of candidates. He reassured parents of the quality education their children would receive at the school and announced that the names of successful candidates will be published on Thursday, 15th August 2024.
